 Urinating problem

I have two leopard geckos. The first I had for a few months and its feces was normal, white and black. It never urinated or I never had a problem if it did. My new gecko however, has a new attribute, she urinates anywhere and it causes a very unpleasant odor.

My question is why does one gecko urinate while the other dosent? And how can I control the smell or the urine??

geckos dont urinate... the white part is the urate(solid urine pretty much)

sounds like the one has a possible parasite issue which is where the smell is coming from... get a fresh (still moist) fecal sample to a herp vet(though usually any vet will do a fecal test even if they arent a herp vet) and get it checked they can give you some meds to take care of the worms and once thats taken care of it shouldnt smell anymore

they can release liquid "pee" if theyre scared or stressed out.. however it doesnt really smell or anything though.. but in general they really shouldnt "pee". parasites cause watery excrement that smells foul. have a vet run a fecal exam on some poo for a solid answer and teat accordingly.

 Urinating problem

Today he dropped some feces both the black and white stuff. I did notice it was very wet around the area he did urinate. And it gives off a very foul odor. To the point where I can smell it just from sniffing the top of the cage.

I think it is a good idea to take the feces to the vet. It produced it last nigh, would it still be fresh enough for vet purposes???

if its still moist when you find it yes.. though when you find it still moist you will want to put it in a ziplock bag ans put it in the fridge to keep it moist untill you can get it to the vets
