Well you should have came here when he stopped eating. Mine did the same thing and i was able to help him before he got to bad. You might need to see a vet but seance we cant see him we don’t know. I had to get chicken baby food and put it on him mouth to get him to eat. I also gave him a few drops of olive oil because i thought he was compacted. After a few days he started eating on his own again and now he is getting bigger. If he is really really bad you should take him to a vet asap. Im sure more people will have better info about this but this is what i had to do.

You should probably take him to the vet.
We may be able to help more if you tell us what his enclosure is like:
What substrate do you use?
What do you normally feed him?
What are the temperatures on the warm and cool sides?
What decorations do you have in with him?
Are there any other animals in with him?
I may be forgetting a couple questions but just give us as much information as you can and we will try to help.

OK my lizard, Rex is on sand, the finest sand i could find
he is with no other animals but himself
i usually feed him crickets as a primary diet, but on occasion i give him meal worms as treats
he has a humid hide and a artificial log, and a real log, a couple rocks and a few dishes and a vine
on the warm side it is around 90 degrees and on the cold side it is 80 degrees
he is in a 22 gallon terrarium, and I’m gonna move him to a bigger one with other Leos, maybe 50
i have been force feeding him, although i saw his tail got longer, and hi stomach is really starting to get shiny, so i don’t no if hes shedding. or going through a "puberty"? for lizards?

I’m going to highly suggests against putting your very ill leo in with others. It really can not make the situation any better. Also, as you should now know, the leo should not be on sand, as it can cause impaction. By the way, impaction in the late stages will have symptoms of decreased to no appetite, large dark masses in the gut, and loss of tail fat reserves. This is because all that sand gets lodged in the digestive tract and makes it nearly impossible to eat and get nutrients from food.

well, i went to "real" lizard shop (no not petkill). and i got some coconut skin, he recommended a under-tank heater pad not a basking light, so i got that, he just said to leave him alone for a week, and wait for at least 24 hours to feed him again. and he is just probably disorientated and that just in case he has an impaction to put a drop of olive oil on hips lips every couple Min’s. will see how he does, ill keep you guys updated, and BTW, he said he’s just probably not I’ll, just stressed.

dont give him crickets, give him waxworms, and silkworms (mostly silkworms) or mealworms if you cant get silkworms but Mulberryfarms.com has all three. Until then, give him chicken or turkey organic baby food mixed with some water with an eye dropper - just drop it in his lips - DONT FORCE FEED ANYTHING - if you drop it an dthe mineral oil on his lips he will lick it off. If he is pooping, dont give any more mineral oil until he eats.

OK now Rex, just regurgitated his food, i mean like a cricket. i did all the impaction treat ments, i soaked him in warm water, i calcium coated his meal. and he ate it one 1/4in. cricket!!!!!! the first in a month i was so happy. but then when i came back an hour later.... he "barfed" it back up. and it wasn’t even chewed just like 1 long brown stick with legs. very stiff. please help i hope i can help this poor little guy i got at petco. (by the way i refuse to give my service to petco anymore, i go to privately owned pet shops were the guys breed their own lizards and sell them... hoping they would no alot more than the big commercial selling stores).

this morning when i gave rex his chicken baby in 50% water 50% chicken food he puffed up his mouth... the bottom, and then he sucked it in more than flat so it was an indent in the bottom of his mouth.
is this normal?
is it just a defensive reaction?
is he swelling?
is that how they smallow their food?

i don’t no that’s why im asking you
