how long can my gecko go with out food , i am out of crickets and hurricane gustav is hitting us soon so no pet stores are open, it has a very fat tail and i usually feed it about six crickets a day , please respond.thanks

if its good and healthy with a nice chunky tail a adult leopard gecko can go for a while without food. you will have plenty of time to get some food for him or her as long as shes got a good fat reserve. if i had to take a guess on how long, im not exactly sure and this is a stab in the dark but posilby months with out food if he or she absolutley had to. just make sure its got water. and good luck to you i hope everything gose ok for you when that storm roles through.
where abouts do you live any ways???

Im gonna guess a gecko could go up to atleast 2-3 months without food. In the wild, there are plenty of natural disasters plus winters they have to live through. As long as the tail is chunky, im sure it will outlast the storm with no negative effects.
