Is this right?
I have recently bought a leopard gecko (1 week ago) and when i bought it the Guy that got it for me gave me the right calcium i needed and all. When we were at the cash i he said dust the crickets with the calicum every feeding. Is that right? It is a baby leopard gecko.

Is this right? Yup. There is a difference between calcium with and without D3 so make sure to look up what you have and how often to use which. We use a small glad-ware container, put some calcium powder in, throw in the crickets, shake-shake-shake, dump crickets in feeding bin/tank.

Is this right? you can only dust crickets one to two times a week with the d-3 stuff. you need to find pure calcium.

Is this right? I think it is pure calcium with d-3 in it. But if its a baby leo doesnt it need D3 everyday at feeding so far since i got him i have been doing that.

Is this right? Hi, I’m not an expert but I have two juveniles and this is what I do because I’ve read it alot of places during all my researching leo gecks. The d-3 should only be used once a week because a build up of it in the system could be very bad or fatal. So dust with pure calcium WITHOUT the d-3 for all feedings and with d-3 once a week. Hope this helps.

Is this right? Yup yup. D3 is toxic if you have too much. D3 only once or twice a week regardless of the age. Use pure calcium most days - calcium phosphate if you can (oyster shell can cause kidney problems in the long run)
