 Male or female...

From those pictures I’d say female. Although, how old is your leopard gecko?

Female, but curious...
Its hard to tell in those pictures but are you holding her upside down on her back? When lizards are on their backs like that it crushes their lungs and they cant breathe...
Not sure if its just the angle of the camera...

If its still a juvenile it could end up being a male, FYI. Since he might just be a late bloomer. Since females mature later then males, so to be on the safe side, you need to keep her separate from any others (especially if you have a known male) just to be safe.

Not true. It’s a female and will always be a female. There’s absolutely no doubt about it.

Out of curiosity, what makes you say that’s not true? It’s a fact that juveniles both look the same, even at a close glance. Then once older, males develop their bulge and the preanal pores darken... It’s obviously a given that what looks to be females can turn out to be males that bloom late... I don’t get what part of that you’re saying is not true...(?) It’s a fact. Or are you just disagreeing that it can be a male?

The only way to know for sure is to know the age. She states it’s a juvenile so it may still have undeveloped pores and bulge... Just curious as to how you automatically state that the previous post wasn’t true like it’s a fact... then go on to state your opinion like there’s no shadow of a doubt...?

There is no "shadow of a doubt." The picture posted is a picture of a female leopard gecko. Twenty years of experience really helps.

Feel free to argue if you’d like but it’s female and will always be a female.

Actually, I’m not arguing anything. I actually can’t even see the pictures because I go on this forum from work and it’s blocked. I’m just curious, as I said, how you came to that absolute conclusion. Curious as to your sureness, as she states it’s a juvenile, and it’s a fact that juveniles may later develop bulges and preanal pores. You stated that’s not true, in which I merely replied with how that isn’t true? My curiosity actually stemmed from the arrogance of your first post, which again you have shown in your second. If you’re going to post with experience, try posting without arrogance since that completely defeats the purpose of showing off your experience. No one listens to an arrogant know it all.

The fact that I answered a question is arrogant? Sorry about that.

The gecko was large enough to sex. The size was obvious from the pictures. It’s a definant female. Hope this helps the original poster.
