 My New Tank Set Up: Yeah!

Okay, so that awesome deal I bought, I finally have it partway set up. Hence, six of my leopard gecko’s are in one area now. Here is how it looks (not the best image, since I couldn’t step back and take a picture of the whole thing.



So the run down...

Top Level: 30 long, left side is the warm side, right side is the cool side. This is Tinker cage. There is a total of five hides in her tank, then another two underneath the vines. Both are live plants. Tinker can crawl under, over or through. There is a water dish on the right (cool) side and her meal worm dish is above her warm most hide (that has a UTH under it), there’s also a calcium dish hidden on the cool side. Lets see, three pieces of driftwood.

Hide run down, warm small hide (warm side)
Huge Warm moist hide (with two holes to get in) and meal worm dish.
Center is another hide
Far right, with side against glass is another decent side hide (first warm hide broke so used it elsewhere)
Then there is a piece of tile (water under it) with another hide on top of it.

Again there space between the base of the pots and the plants for her to hide under also.

Under Tinker: Left Side: Climentri (or however I spell her name)

Water Dish
Calcium Dish
Meal Worm Dish
Drift wood
Rock pile hide
Reptic 3:1 Hide (might be t-rex)
heat in the center

To Climentri’s Right: Hatched this year 8/19/2007

Watched this one hatch, no name as of yet (possible Swirl from pattern)

3 Pieces of Drift wood
Hanging fake plants
Fake plant in one drift wood
3:1 Rock hide (warm moist hide)
two cut saucers as cool hide and warm hide
water
calcium
meal worm dishes

center is warm side

Bottom left: Newest Hatch 8-29-08 - No name as of yet

Three hides again:
3:1 warm moist hide
Half pot cool hide
Saucer warm hide
water Dish
calcium Dish
meal worm Dish
Drift wood
hanging plants

Center is warm side

Bottom Right: Deuce (8-1-08) and nameless (8-17-08)

They are the same size

Platform w/ rock shelf on two bricks
2 pieces of driftwood
Fake plant
3:1 warm/moist hide
saucer (medium size) warm hide
Ceramic pot (cool)
Water Dish
Food Dish
Calcium Dish

Warm Side in the middle.

Yes these two hatched a little while apart but they are the same size. They get along greatly with no bullying happening in the tank.

Claws (not show) Hatched 8-1-08 Is HUGE



His tank, little different set up but again

3 hides, warm, cool and warm moist, calcium dish, food dish, water dish, 2 pieces of drift wood, Day and night light on top of his tank (like Tinkers), hanging plants and UTH.

There is actually a UTH under all of my tanks, the small 15 gallons have it in the center by the divider, Tinker’s in the top left side under the hide w/ the dish on it and Claws is in the front left cornor.



4 of the five hatchings from this year. Claws is the huge one, Duece is in the corner with the two markings on his head. Hacthed 8-19-08 in corner by Deuce and the other 8-19-08 is the one more off by himself!

I know one level is 49 inches long, 13 inches wide and 13 inches tall. So I would guess add the 8 inch cinder block on the bottom, 57 inches tall by 49 inche wide by 13 deep right now. I plan to build a cabinet for all five level. the plans would be each level would slide in (so the weight of the top one isn’t held up and putting all it’s weight on the bottom) into a shelve that has the bottom cut out more or less for air circulation.
