Butterworms? Since I cannot find any mealworms and am running very low I am looking for an alternative feeder. I have ordered silkworms before and my leo didn’t seem to like them. He also didn’t really touch the pheonix worms and he won’t eat crickets. Are butterworms really fatty like waxworms? I was looking at the roaches but they seem to be very big and I’m worried that like crickets he won’t eat them. If there is any other insect that you have used with a picky eater I’d love to know what :)
Thanks!

Butterworms? butter worms are like waxies but with a bit more calcium.. you can always contact a place that sells super worms and see if you can order small ones that would be about the size of mealies

Butterworms? My female didn’t like the silkies either but after I took the mealies away for a while and she went without food for over a week she warmed up to them. Keep in mind she was fat enough for me to starve her for a week and a half and still have a chubby tail - if your geckos thin, I dont suggest that method. Butterworms really shouldn’t be a staple. Have you tried Roaches? goliath worms?

Butterworms? Mine love silkworms! LOVES. Try Hornworms...get them small because they grow fast, but they’re bright green. I use butterworms more as treats than a staple.
