 Weird and Creepy.

So i was going to feed my leopard gecko when i went over to my cricket cage and i saw this cricket all curled up with a huge puffy white back its moving its intenas but just laying there. ITs looks really nasty and its like a big white puffy back and the only gray on it is its tail and head.. anyone got ideas? I think it might be having eggs... think im right? Please awnser and thanks.

No, I think it’s just molting. Does it look kind of like it has wings?

no. When they lay eggs, they lay in moist sand, vermiculite, etc. What I think that the puffy stuff is is fungus. IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE CRICKET WITH THE WHITE STUFF. If it is fungus, it will spread to all f the other crickets and if you feed them to your gecko, he will get very very sick and possibly die. It is probably a good idea to wait for a few days and check the other crickets (after you remove the affected one) for signs of fungus before feeding them to your lizard.

It’s molting, it’s not a fungus, and your geckos aren’t going to die.
