Help I know this isn’t about leopard geckos. but the alligator lizard forum never answers soon enough and this is urgent. My alligator lizard was just going through a shed when i noticed she didn’t shed her eye skin? not her eye lids but her eye is foggy sort of like snakes when they shed. I went a picked up moss and made a good humid hide and she is in it now. So how will i get the eye shed off?

Help Did you have a humid hide before the problem arose?

Help well there was a section of his cage that has a really wet section of coco fiber and his whole cage would be sprayed every day and hie had places to scratch on. and i saw him one day a few days before his eyes started to get hazy and he had started to shed his chin. but this is my first actual humid hide for him in a while ( i know huge mistake)

Help If it was a leo, i’d say try a warm bath - but I can’t imagine an alligator lizard being chill enough to give a bath without you ending up with scars :) Try misting his face with warm water.

Help My alligator lizard isn’t mean at all. i have had her since she was born and hold her a lot and i think that is why she isn’t a biter. She was 1 year on labor day. in baths she will sometimes sit but usually she just swims out
