 QUESTION :]

#if it’s at a good weight why would you wanna give it a pink? I think pinks should only be offered to females after they have produced eggs so they can regain strength and fat

 QUESTION :]

Personally, I think pinkies can be offered as treats every couple months or so, but for a fat gecko, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s kind of like a 350 pound person eating a lot of french fries. It’s just not healthy. If your gecko is mid-sized or skinny, it would be fine, but I personally wouldn’t do that for a fat gecko.

 QUESTION :]

I’d like to know what age/size/weight they should be in order for them to try pinkies too.

 QUESTION :]

I’d say full grown, hence over a year old or so. Every where I’ve read, yes they make a tasty treat but it’s mostly for females to fatten up after egg laying.

 QUESTION :]

Dont feed your leos pinkies. Use waxworms as treats or to boost weight. Pinky mice can actually cause liver disease in leopard geckos. I think we have had think talk before...

 QUESTION :]

If we got boy "Pinky mice can actually cause liver disease" should we also not use wax worms because they can cause fatty tissue in or around the liver?
