 HELP!!!!!!! emergency!

My 2 leo babies have been in the same tank the entire time ive had them. Recently Blitz(blizzard) had begun to show more agressive behavior but i thought it was probably to show dominance because the guy i bought her/him from saidhe/she was a girl. Ive been thinking otherwise for the past few weeks. Then yesterday i was gone all day and didnt have the chance to feed them and thought everything would be ok. I went to feed Ashley (slightly smaller/normal phase) today and her tail is gone! i couldntfind it anywhere in the cage but Blitz is looking really fat, so i suppose Blitz ate the entire tail. What can i use to clean the stub? Is peroxide ok to use? Should i put neosporin(without painkillers) on the wound. ive already separated them but need to find a bigger permanant cage.

 HELP!!!!!!! emergency!

its in their natural instinct to regrow it, if they were in the wild they wouldnt have anyone to put anything on it for them, so dont worry, its very common for leos to lose their tails under certain circumstances.

Good, keep them separated. Leo babies housed together almost never ends well. You don’t know there sexes. Males will fight when they reach sexual maturity, a male will breed a female way too early and she could die, two females probably wouldn’t work because they grow at different rates and the bigger one would end up bullying the smaller one and it wouldn’t get any food.

She probably lost her tail from the stress of being housed with a larger male.

Put some neosporine(no painkiller) on it every day, keep her on paper towels that you change daily and make sure to give her lots of food and calcium.

Yeah,
what Ammeratsu said. (sorry if I spell it wrong.)
Even though they don’t have neosporin in the wild,
That doesn’t mean it can’t get infected.
Leos in the wild even die of infected tails too.
So just in case(:

Good job on separation too.
But yeah,
It’ll grow back,
just not the same.

Hope your leo gets better(:
