 Could I use a Shoebox ?

to store beetles with oat subtrate b/c im not sure if they will eat through the cardboard. The same with mealworms also can they eat through it?

also what can i feeed the beetles ?

Note " I just have 6 pupas now in a tubberware & 70 mealworms in another large tubberware container

lol they will most definitely eat through the cardboard box. Just use another tupperware container.

Beetles will eat veggies and oatmeal. Make sure to give them greens and lettuce and when the lettuce dries up and is crunchy leave it in there as the beetle will lay their eggs on it.
