 Sick/skinny leo

I have an albino female leo that’s a bit skinny and needs more weight put on her. I’ve tried to feed her twice the amount of crickets than usual, but she hasn’t gained anything and doesn’t have parasites. I heard turkey baby food fed though a syringe can bring the wieght up and is safe, along with the usual crickets each day. Is this true?

Hello,

How are you sure she does not have parasites?

As to helping a leo gain weight you can always give her a fatty treat. Some good treats are horn worms, butter worms, and super worms. Try not to feed your little critter too much of these treats, no more than a couple once a week.

I would personally avoid feeding your leo out of a syringe unless it is absolutely necessary because it can cause major stress to her.

Every other day feed em: GutLoaded worms and or Gutloaded Crickets. Use Calcium supplements to dust em. Try a few cans of wax worms & superworms.

its all about a with fededing consistancy after a month you’l notice a difference with the tail
