 What the heck is this!?!???

ok so poncho is now blind in one eye but i looked at it today and its like dead its all brown and dead ,what do i do! also she hasent eaten in a long time but shes been shedding and eating that but if shes blind in a eye can she still feed herself? and will she be ok eating wise and eye?? Please answer asap. Thanks

if she isnt eating mabe use some twezzers and put the food right in front of her its useful with older geckos that cant feed them selves so i cant see why it wouldnt work with a gecko thats blind

My Gecko is also blind in one eye. I feed him with those plastic tweezers from the pet store. Sometimes his depth perception is off and he even misses them right under his nose. But if her eye is all brown and dead you should probably take her to the vet asap.

Hello,

I fostered a leo that is blind in one eye for the summer. She ate fine. We just kept food in her cage 24/7, switching the food out daily with gut loaded feeders, and we kept the feeder container in the same place at all times so she knew where to find it.

We also would place a drop or two of sensitive eyes saline solution in her bad eye at least once every other day. You might want to give that a try too. Saline solution is super inexpensive.
