 New owner-Few questions

I’ve never owned geckos before but always like them and I found this guy on Craigslist selling 6 geckos. Im trying to get more information out of him. He said 220 OBO. How does the pricing go as far as geckos?

Prices depend on morph, age, health, genetics that went into the gecko, etc.

Most normals, go for about 25-40.00

but Black pearl go up to 3,000.00

Black pearl is still a morph in the making so, you dont have to worry about that one..

6 geckos for 220.00 sounds ’okay’, depending on the morphs that is. I personally wouldnt pay that much for a group of normals...

Be wary of craigslist. While most people sell healthy animals on there, some are sick or have diseases and a 6 lot of leo’s could mean a breeder trying to sell old stock or sick geckos. Just make sure you check out the animals before you agree to take them. Don’t be afraid to tell the seller "no" even after seeing them.

I just picked up two healthy "female" bearded dragons from someone today, but when I got to the house, one was a male and the other was a skinny female. I took them because I know I can turn the female around and i got both and a cage and setup for 50$, but just be cautious

As for the price, it depends on what the morph of the geckos is.
