 EGG! HELP

woke up and she was digging... theres only one ... so far..... she hasn’t looked pregnant AT ALL!! i didn’t’t even no she hadn’t’t changed, i don’t even no how long the eggs been there.. part of it it ... its a bit yellow but... not much

incubate ted them as best as i could there in a container in some compost and its humid i have made sure to put water around the egg but not too much or to little, and then that container is in a cardboard box for better heating.. and a heat mat underneath..
the temps at 85f

advice please.

the eggs is squishy and not as yellow as it was last night... its more whiter.
its puffy and looks good =]


please help! x

Should be incubated in vermiculite. The vermiculite should be damp enough that it clumps and wet enough that only a drop or two of water will fall if squeezed. Look for another egg, most times they ay 2, but if this is her first time laying, then there may only be one.

Here is a good site on how to make a makeshift incubator. Temp can be between 83-88 degrees (83 giving all girls, 85 giving mix, and 88 giving all boys).

They are plastic conatainers, maybe something you would store shoes in a closet . Tupper ware containers work well.

I’m transferring the egg tomorrow to per-lite my dads getting some, lol I’m 18 and still live with my parents ha.
