I just acquired a Leo from a lady who said she could no longer care for it adequately. He(?) looks very skinny and has stuck shed on his head and feet. His former living conditions were not very good. Since I have given him a proper environment with a humid hide, some of the stuck shed has come off, but not all of it. Will the stuck-on shed come off on it’s own during the next shed? He is a veracious eater. Is it possible to overfeed a gecko? The lady I got him from said he was about two years old. How big should he be? I have owned skinks and snakes, but this is my first gecko. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should come off on its own. You could soak him/her in warm water. Stomach high for a few minutes. Drip some on its head. Could also rub it a bit with a wet q-tip.
Feed as much as it can eat in 10 minutes nice a day. Twice a day if it’s overly skinny. Should have a thick tail
