 Eggs

So...it turns out one of my geckos really was pregnant. I wasn’t sure because she just looked a little fatter than usually. Well, I was cleaning the cage last night and found two eggs cemented to the top of the hide.

Has anyone actually hatched any? I’m not too sure I want any more tokays, but if I could find a good home I’d definately try to hatch them.

Do you just leave them alone? Do you have to incubate them? If you incubate them, at what temps do you incubate? If I do incubate them, how do I remove them from the hide?

tokays are over protective of their eggs and second tokays literally cement the eggs to the corner wall of your tank so taking those eggs off the wall unless you kill them will be impossible.

so you just have to keep the humidity the same throughout the eggs lives until they are born.

Won’t the bigger tokays eat the hatchling after they are born?

It’s under the hide...and they weren’t so protective. I was able to take the hide out. I spoke with LLL and they told me just to take the hide out and sit it in a small tank with a heat pad filled with vermiculite.
