i have a male and a female, that are breding they have just laid the fist batch of eggs and i am wondering how i tell which is the female. they both seem to look the same size.
one is more pink then the other one.

Sounds like your pinkish one might be a female.. The one with the bigger head is usally a girl!.. Also if you say she laid some eggs, there useally a tokay garding the eggs and it would most likely be the female.. As for hard core proof

Oh definitly!! They might eat one or the other or both if they dont get to it it’ll be the crickets.. Oh I was raging mad when my crixs got to my geckos eggs.. I suffered though both situations.. is it suck on the glass or something if it on a piece of wood just take the whole thing out.. But it if stuck on the glass or something get a small salad/ soup clear container you can get a food store.. poke some fork size holes in it and get a small wet sea sponge and keep it damp to help keep it humid in there.. Also make sure there is no water on the eggs, eggs must be dry!! and take the container and tape it on the wall or where ever the eggs maybe.. but you want to isolated the eggs for the geckos and crickets..

When the geckos hatch take them out of the tank and put them in a small container or small tank, no heating rocks, Hating pads or light will work nicely.. Heat rocks will burn them up into a crisp.. sorry I am rambling on I am sure you know!

Dang...

I just checked mine and both of them are males.
guess i wont ever get any babies.
They get along fine. They even rest together.
I assumed they were either both female...or one of each gender because they got along so well. I bet if i introduced a female to the cage they would lose that tolerance for each other.

i have a sub adult Tokay and i can’t tell if it’s male or female. i’ve looked at the pics and i still can’t tell. it’s not very vocal, in fact i’ve only heard it make a noise a few times and that was only when i accidentally startled it.

is there any instances that both pores are visible? my tokays already layed their eggs and until now im not sure which one is the male and which one is the female. the other one is much larger and brighter coloration than the other. can anybody help me determine their sex?

the male is almost always larger than the female!!! So assume the big one is the male... can you try to take pics and post them maybe some of us can see it...

As for two male living together it all depends on the tokays.. I have one male who cannot live with any other male because I didn’t raise him to live with other males. Also I have 3 baby boys who grow up together and they all get along just fine.. So it all depends on the their living situation and who they grow up with...
