 Need advice ASAP
2 days ago I found that there was blood on a rock and the side of my Tokay’s cage. His "fingers" are messed up, 3 of the 4 are ruined so to speak. I know it also hurts him, he’ll still climb the cage but hold the one arm out away from the cage. You can see that his pads are gone, so he can’t really hold the glass. I have no place to take him around here. No reptile vet or anyone that knows anything about them. Any suggestions on what I should do for him? Thank you.

Yes, hes in there all by himself. There is a heat rock in the cage, but it’s never been plugged in since he’s had the cage. And his heat lamp is outside the cage, but however he did this it was overnight sometime. He was fine when we went to bed and we got up and turned his light on, and I saw the blood. Any clue? I would have taken a pic but family has borrowed my camera.

yeah sorry I am stumped on this one ? what kind of top to the cage ? could his foot have gotten stuck ? poor guy

nah, couldn’t have gotten stuck, it’s doing much better now though, hes been doing alot of licking at it. still tries to baby it alot though. I’m posting another question right now though, please reply.

His feet still messed up??? When my geckos have bloody wound I usually put a hydrogen peroxide on it.. So the healing process increase and keeps their wounds from getting infected.. Keep the extreme heat away from them otherwise they will burn themselves not realizing it... keep it humid as possible as well...
