Stressed out colors.???????  what are the colors that a tokay turns to when stressed or scared, because mine is usually dark red with white stripes on his tail.?????

Stressed out colors.???????  yeah usually when they are dark they are stressed OR they are cold and are trying to attract heat to themselves. is he warm enough ? and does he have lots of plants to hide in ? is he in a high traffic area ? do you have a picture ? also some tokays are just darker than others (usually females I have found)

 Or it can be the color of their tanks.. I have one male tokay I keep in a tank alone for other reasons, anyways his bedding is white so he stay light gray color... The others I have who stays in tank with dark color bedding stay a dark color or when they are on the glass they turn a light gray as well... so it could be 3 things stressed cold or the coloring of their home bedding..

Stressed out colors.???????  oh ok i see thanks but im preety sure its that hes stressed about all the movement and remodeling of his tank and also does any one know how much time they take to settle in to a new home because ive had him for a week and he still hasnt ate or gotten any lighter in color.?????
