 Lighting Question

Just got a Tokay Gecko today and I’m very excited. Tried to bite me through the cage and I love it! Question about lighting...What’s the best bulb to use for these guys? The person I got it from gave me a regular 75W bulb and I know that’s incorrect. What do you use?

i use a regular 60W red bulb (not the infrared) suggested by the people at the pet store. I leave it on during the day to keep the basking side around 90F. it works well, and it’s food for nocturnal animals. i leave a regular light in the room on during the day to simiulate day time. i turn both lights off at night and the tank stays around 75F. i tried UTH but it didn’t keep the whole tank warm, just the substrate and he’s usually on the side of the tank, so it wasn’t helping.
