 Boy or girl i need to know

i need to know for sure if my tokay is a boy or a girl so i can get another one. From everything i have read it seems to be a girl ,I think. But i want to get another one , but it would be a horrible mistake if my thoughts are wrong. i would like not to have dead ones.i have a few pictures mabye you can tell from them

mabye i can try to take some better pictures

if you can get a closer pic of the cloaca that would help. if it is a male there will be a V-shape line of scales with large pores, and sometimes you can see a bulge where the hemipenis is. the females will have V-shape line of scales but no pores or very small pores.

Thanks that is very helpful. everyone keeps telling me what to look for and i know what area to look in but didn’t know exactly what i was looking for . this makes it very clear definetly a girl. thanks again.

yah you can also tell by just simply looking at the spots and shape
the guys have big overwhelming orange spots, the girls ones are smaller and not so bold.
the guys bodies are also wider

sex has NOTHING to do with color... males however do tend to have broader heads, and are generaly larger in overall size

Hello Tokays are the only ones that will make a full mating call and actually sound like it calling his own name GE GE GE GECKOOO or TO TO TO TOKAY with a silent t... Females make a crocking sound only when she is trying to warn off something... So if you hear loud barking sounds often then you have a male!!
