 Taming, eating meat

I have a new Tokay and giving him friendly contact everyday to get him tame over time, how long does it take for most people? He’s almost 8 inches now (including his tail), idk how old he is or anything... Wishing I could’ve found babies lol. oh well though.

Also, I know some animals get more aggressive once they get a taste for meat. Will feeding him pinkies ruin my chances of taming him?

I would worry more about them biting you once they get tame then when they are wild. At least then you know what to expect. Once they get tame and start eating out of your fingers you get bit more often. :)
