 New Tokay

We just got a huge Tokay this weekend. The pictures don’t really show just how big this bugger is. I’ve never seen a Tokay this big before. Still not sure if its Male or Female. Thought someone on here might be able to give me a clue. The width of its head is about an inch and a half.

The set up we have him/her in is 18L x 18W X 24T. To give you a little bit better size gage. The end of its tail had been bit off at some time. But that doesnt really matter much to me. So far its pretty laid back. But then again I’m not pushing things Haha.

That tokay looks very healthy! Good pick. Most new tokays I see on here (mine included) are skinny and such.

Looks like a male to me by the way.

Thanks! He was the fattest one I’d ever seen. I’m use to seeing the thinner ones. So when I spotted him..I was hooked. Haha

I have leopard geckos so Im familar with the V and wax. After looking at the pic I was leaning twards male. But wanted to get a few opinions.

Cool... He’ll be the happiest boy in town thats for sure... Has he started barking yet?? once he start barking you’ll start thinking you got a dog in the house they are very vocal and LOUD! They bark at all sorts of times and even at 4 or 5 am.. Luckly I am deaf haha but when I take him to my parents house they have to hear all his barking! Sadly hehehe
