ok

what is the minumim sie for 2 tokays i am going to a reptile show and planned on getting mine a "friend" i will quarintine of course but mine is a female

i am getting one of those large exoterra ones 35g i beleive is that enough for 2?

is it 20 for one ad 10g for each addirional one?

i also have a 65greptarium(closed with plexiglass to hold in humidity) that i am currently using but i hate it b/c it is so hard to get into

i can use it if the 35 is not big enough but i was sure it was 20 + 10

i’m quite sure it’s 20 plus 10 also but i don’t really go by those equations you find online and whatever

tokays are kind of big, i’d say 40 for 2, but 35 is pretty close to 40. i think it will be fine. if it’s male and female tokays, there won’t be any problems really, they’ll share the hides sometimes too

ok thanks i am almost 100% she is female she is about 8in? and has no pores at all

she is doing pretty well at taming down too

if it’s not old enough, it’s pores might not have developed yet, so you might not be able to tell, how old is it?

i am not sure the people i got her from said she was about 4-5 mo old and that was in february so that would make her about 9-10 mo old?

that is if they were correct on age the table i got her from had a bunch of people running it and he said he wasnt sure and he said he would ask they guy but he was taking forever so i told him to forget about it

I currently have a 120g male and a 90g(ish) female in an exoterra cage and they get along just fine. I bought another "female" to add to my boy’s harem. Quarantined it for over a month and everything seemed ok. Finally introduced "her" to the other two and within 2 days she was dead. Horribly disfigured and bitten to pieces, I suspect, by the big guy. Didn’t appear to have any male qualities. Pores were real small and pretty much was almost positive it was a girl, but the big guy didn’t approve. Was real sad.

oh wow that is so sad i think mine will be ok she is still pretty small (not huge anyway and i will get one of relative size) i always put them together out of the cage first to make sure they get along that way

i will also try to check before i take them home to see what they look like

anyway wish me luck
