Quick question  I just picked up a tokay gecko tonight and it is on this stuff that looks like kitty litter that he asid makes it so when the gecko uses the bathroom it doesnt stink or something. The cage is fairly dirty with cricket carcasses and waht not. It has an under the tank heater on it. my question is I have repti bark and I have bed a bees here. Can i put the gecko on repti bark?

Quick question  yes you can. the kitty litter type stuff i would say is bad because it won’t hold humidity, so anything that holds some humidity would be good. i keep mine just on peat moss with a little bit of beaked moss for some extra humidity holding.

Quick question  as long as you keep it clean it won’t smell. i would be afraid they’d swallow the kitty litter, i don’t really know what it’s made of, could be toxic

Quick question  yeah he said it wasnt kitty litter but like it. i took it all out though and put repti bark down. should i be misting once a day or every other day or how often?
