Hi I want to get a Tokay gecko maybe sometime soon.
Could I put the Gecko with my other lizards. I have 2 Mountain horned dragons, I probably cant but I just want to make sure.
Are they easy to take care of and are they going to bite me every time I try to pick it up.
I’m gonna want to leave them in my moms class cause she only has 4 hrs of class out of 6.
Also could I feed it worms and horned worms?
I’m not totally new to reptiles but I’m still looking for kool lizards that are pretty easy to care for.

Questions on the gecko
no, you can not put a tokay with mountain horned dragons. tokays need high humidity and i’m pretty sure the mhd’s don’t. i would consider them an intermediate gecko and they are generally just a display animal because of their tempers. they are nick-named the bulldogs of geckos. some people have tamed theirs but most are still pretty nasty from what it hear. mine will sometimes let me pet her tail but thats it. it will need atleast a 20 gal tall tank with plenty of planting to hide in. you will also need a heat light on one side of the tank. the humidity needs to be around 70-80%. i keep moss in the bottom moist and mist daily to every other day. you can put a water dish in but the will mostly only drink from the dew drops on the side of the tank. you can feed them meal worms or super worms...i wouldn’t do horned worms (maybe for an adult but i don’t feed them). the main staple should consist of crickets as well. i feed mine about a dozen crix every other day (adult). you’ll need to dust the food with a calcium supplement too. if you have any other questions just ask...and remember to do all your research before getting one.
