Problem Solved ok well i was finally able to put the reptile cages together...the mites are taken care of, and they will get a provent-a-mite spray once a month...but i built tokay a jungle gym...ran out of sticks...but ill fix that tomorrow. i put it in her cage for her to try it...and now she wont get off it. so i just left it in there...and the sticks are fine...i baked them yesturday for 3 and 1/2 hours. but she got some crickets today, and i also got some calcium dust for them. i also got some for my lepoard gecko...i am afriad to use the vitamins...but since ive been using them on my iggy, i am starting to trust them more.
but look at where her hut is in these pictures...which spot lwould be better...in the middle of the gym...or on the right side of it. i am going to pick up something tomorrow and make her a hideaway outta that branch you see on the right side. i am going to use "hamster straw mats" which is what i put her water bowl on...i got tired of washing out her water bowl and getting dirt all over the place. lol but she seems to be doing good...
got a question...do female tokay geckos bark. cuz i am about 95% sure mine is female...but she barks maybe once a week at night.
but here is a pic of the cage...2 pics actually...tell me what you think of the hide-a-way and where i should leave it.

 (look at that face!!)
also, if you guys have any suggestions, it would be very much apreciated! thanks.

Problem Solved you can google tokay calls and listen to them, it should help you decided what you’ve got (that’s how I found out!) my boy didn’t start mating calls till he was almost 2 years old, I thought forsure I had a female

Problem Solved Females can make sounds and from what I’ve seen there’s basically two reasons. The first being a startled/annoyed sounds like when you try to touch them and I have heard them make a clucking type sound in response to the male’s more familiar namesake calls. I could be wrong, but other than that they are whisper silent for the most part.

Problem Solved Yuromastic is totally right. Females do make sounds and both reasons are true. I have 18 tokays and all but one of my females will "bark" at me when startled, so like a defense call. I do not breed my Tokays, they are all in their own tanks, so I have never heard a female response to a male mating call. The one main difference between males and females, at least in my colony, is that males will bark with out even being touched. So when some one approaches the cage, they will bark and arch their backs in a defensive manor. My females, on the other hand, will only bark after being touched.

Problem Solved haha i guess you can say i have a tame tokay...she gets aggressive at times...but nothing really like some of them on here do. i can pick her up, and she squirms, but doesnt arch, bark, or try to bite. back when i first got her (long story...she was being mistreated to make it short) i didnt know much about her, so i would sit her on my shoulder and look around online...when i found out they had teeth and attitude...that little time was more careful. i think in the 2 years ive had her, ive been snapped at once...then i had to bath her in a mite solution a few weeks ago, and she opened her mouth to warn me, but didnt bite the towl. but i cant complain. lol. shes a good girl.
but she just randomly barks...usually at night...and usually about 2 days after ive fed her some crickets...ive learned that when she barks, shes hungry. haha piggy little thing!
but does the cage look ok to you guys? should her hide be in the shade of in the light? the jungle gy look ok? built it myself...then i ran out of sticks...so i gotta go out, cut more, and bake them...and finish this up.
thanks guys!

Problem Solved as long as the hide is dark on the inside it should be fine, they like to stay out of the light, i like to use a light to make a cycle for them to tell night and day plus i have plants. the jungle look makes sense but it can really look anyway you want it too. just as long as it doesn’t interfere with their lifestyle.
