Gecko acting tame....wha?! 
well, i’ve been working with her a little bit, petting her on the head from behind and such. so tonight, as she was climbing up the cage wall with the lid off, i put my hand out as an extension to the wall and she crawled right into my hand. she looked pretty puzzled and confused and seems to only get mad when she comes near my body or face. but is amazingly calm and will walk in my hand and even lick me. she’s been eating very well and seems pretty healthy to me. should i still have consern?

What’s to be concerned about? Both my tokays are tame. This is a good thing, keep holding it and it will eventually get really nice for you. The only reason Tokays are aggressive is because they are afraid of you and that you will hurt them. This is a good sign, this means its learning to trust you.

she seems to be eating a little less now. about 4 or 5 crickets every other night. (she was eating around 8) maybe it’s just her metabolism leveling out from when she was underfed in the pet store. she also shed.

If you feed her a variety she should have a good appetite. Try giving some superworms and waxworms as a treat. That way she won’t ever get bored with her food!

yeah I agree with PrettyKttkat, its likes us eating Hamburgers everyday for the rest of our lives!! Oy.. Make sure her tank is nice and warm as well!
