Some pics of my girl 
Here’s my fiesty tokay, Walter (yes, walter is a girl). When i first got her didn’t know how to sex geckos (she was my first gecko), and then learned she was a girl, but couldn’t think of a better name. We cleaned her cage today and thought I’d take some new pics. She’s come a long way since I first got her. She was really skinny and color wasn’t good when I first got her, and now she’s huge! She’s a foot long and nice and healthy. Haven’t weighed her (was going to tonight but the scale is packed up somewhere). Enjoy!

Hmm.. My Tokay has the same color as that top picture but hasn’t changed to be as beautiful as the bottom pictures! She is definitely not that skinny at all but is she stressed or something which is keeping her from turning into that beautiful blue color? I have had her for only about 6 weeks. Thanks :)

the darker color can sometimes mean that they are stressed. mine will get darker when she is mad or cold. since you’ve only had her for a short time i wouldn’t worry about it. just make sure all of you husbandry is on and she’ll be fine and will hopefully brighten up...or she may just be one that will stay darker.

She doesn’t have hemi peni bumps and she doesn’t have the pronouced V pores. She also doesn’t call consistently like a male should, she will only call when she hears the sound of a male.

Mine didn’t call for the first 2 years, he also does not have prominent pores. If I had to visually sex him I would say he is a she. If it weren’t for the mating calls I would have no clue he is a male. Now that he is 3 he calls all the time, but even a year ago he maybe called once or twice a week. Now it’s like 10 times a day/night
