 Adventure at the pet store

so today i went into the pet store to see if i could find a male for my female. THis guy pulled it out of the tank it was in and went to put it in a little plastic container and it jumped out before he could get the lid on and he tried to catch it with his bare hand and this was the end result.

He rinsed it under water and it just squeezed tighter then about 8 minutes later someone from the back came out with tweezers and had to pry its mouth open..how do you get them to let go?

I don’t. Before when i would try to hold him he would bite onto my glove, I would slide it off and he would sit there with it hanging out of his mouth for up to 2 hours LOL. I haven’t tried to pick him up in over 2 years. He was super strong 2 years ago I can’t imagine trying to get him to let go now haha ! I’m pretty sure he would take my finger off
