 Mesh and heat

hey!!!! I’m finishing my terrarium and i’m about to buy my heat bulb but i was wondering, if i put the bulb above the mesh wouldn’t it get spoilt, i mean, does the heat affect the mesh?

No i have heat lights on top of all of my tops of my glass tanks if thats what you mean

do you mean metal mesh ? if it’s not metal mesh it can melt

yeah thats what im talking about. it can melt the screen material especially if its a high wattage bulb.
