my tokay is out all the time.....even in the day. never hides in his plants. my temps are around 83 so he shouldn’t be cold but he’s always near the top of the tank

I wouldnt worry about it, aslong as you have hides for him then its fine. Mine use to spend alot of time out stuck to the glass.

well I have a skull in there...I wouldn’t exactly call it a hide but there are tonnes of plants in there for him to hide in if he needed or felt like it

Camo when your tokay is out all the time is it that dark brown stressed out color? if its the regular beautiful light blue color when its out all the time then that means its not stressed out and your doing fine.

I thought he was stressed but it was just the red bulb making him look dark so no. he seems quite happy and doesn’t even stress when I vacuum his cage out (which I thought he would)

my tokay hardly eva hides, just sticks to the fake wall at the back of the tank, probabl thinks hes camolflaged, hes stupid :P
