 Where Did You Get Yours?

Hello all,

For the past few days, I’ve been thinking about getting a (baby) Crested Gecko. (Though if worse comes to worse I may have to give up a few tarantulas to make "pet space")

Would you be so kind as to giving me places where you purchased your baby crested gecko? (I was already advised not to get it from any store like petland discounts and/or petco-it wouldn’t matter much any way cause none around here sells ’em)

lllreptile is where i got mine. they are out here in california but they ship worldwide at lllreptile dot com. healthy babies most definitely

Be be honest, there is nothing wrong with some Petcos or Petsmarts. You hear a lot of horror stories, but none that I have ever been to had bad conditions for their reptiles. Maybe we just do a better job in WI or something, I don’t know. Petco normally has really nice crested geckos, and some say they come directly from Allen Repashy. I’m not sure if that is true or not, since I’ve never got a straight answer from him about it. I currently have 6 gorgeous crested geckos from Petcos around WI.

Do some searching online for breeders in your area. My first two came from the guy who runs Crestedgecko.com. I lived only 30 miles from his place, so he allowed me to visit his facility. It’s so much better to talk to the seller in person and be able to choose your gecko, rather than ordering it online or something. Try hitting up local reptile shows and sales in your area too. Those are great places to meet people and find exactly what you are looking for.

By the way, where are you located? I may be able to give you more advice if I knew which city and state you lived in.
