 My gecko cage

this is my gecko cage. i have three mediteranean geckos in it. one male, one female, and one pregnant female. it is a ten gallon tank with rocks and a layer of moist coconut fiber on top. it has real logs and fake plants. their water dish is perfect. they love it! if you have any recommendations or have any comments please tell me. anything to make my cage better my my geckos would be great. thank you!

thank you for the seggestion but everywere i look says 4 geckos per 10 gallon tank is ok. and now i only hav two geckos and they have been living there for a few months.thanks anyway!

make it more of a jungle. get some big sticks and so you put them up real high. and get a bigger tank. i heard a 20 gallon is best.

Most people that say "A 10g works just fine" are either Petstores who have no idea how to actually properly care for an animal or people who don’t have any idea what they are talking about.

I would say maybe a 10gallon would be the MINIMUM for 1 Gecko, but minimum to me is taking a short cut and isn’t the best thing you can do for your Gecko. Remember Minimum and "fine" are not even close to beneficial. More space = happier/healthier lizard. Anything at Minimum or below could cause stress (even though you may not notice, it could be there). I would suggest a 20-30gallon

I have one med. house gecko in a 20 gal tall and couldn’t imagine keeping her in anything smaller. She used to be in a 10 gal and didn’t seem as happy as she does now.
Get lots more foliage in there for them to climb on. LOTS.
