Sooo I’m getting a Viper Gecko
So I’ve had lizards before, but nothing as small as a viper gecko. I’m going to keep him in a ten gallon tank. I’ve read they need pretty high temps, how do I get the right temperatures. I have hot rocks, under tank heaters, and basking lights but I’m not sure what combinations or watts should be used to get the right temps. Also. the substrate debate. I have heard so much conflicting information I am no longer sure what would be safe to use, so any guidance would be very much appreciated. That’s pretty much it but if there is anything else I should know, please inform me asap!

Sooo I’m getting a Viper Gecko Reptile carpet or tiles are best and work well if you want something ’decorative’ like most people do.
Squee is right about the UTH and substrate.
Never use heat rocks, though. They can burn the little guy.
