 I’ve decided to get a gecko soon but iono what would be the most entertaining

some geckos i were thinkin about were the giant day gecko,leaf tailed gecko,and the flying gecko

if your new to geckos leaf tails and flyings are outta the picture right now.. those are for more experienced herpers. the leaftails more so than the flyers..

leaf tails can be and are very fragile most of the time and if your husbandry is off a little, especially with humidity, it can have some devistating effects on the gecko.. plus probably about 98% of the leaf tails are still wild cought and if they dont come from a decent place that knows what theyre doing its that much harder to keep them alive.

with flyings i found it was hard to get them aclimated at first if they didnt come from a good place(importers and distributors) again due to the fact 99.9% of flyers are also wild cought. with flyings, more so than leaf tails, they can come in with a ton of parasites and diseases that dont get noticed or treated unless again they come from a good place.

im not sure about day geckos as ive never kept those

i have anoles an a few giant day geckos now...but im tryin to have a variety of species.

though its not much in way of geckos and experience with harder species id still stay away from at least the leaf tails for now.. even though they look cool and all they arent good for people just looking for variety of species.

yah yur rite ..im gonna stick to the easier species like the house,marbled,crested etc. i have been doin alot of studyin for monthsz now on the easier species..
