Hello

well i was at petsmart the other day and i saw a cool looking gecko. i can’t remember what it was called tho it had a white line going down its back and had it go to its neck and split into a v, so what kind of gecko?

white-lined gecko, also called a skunk gecko. It’s related to the tokay and golden.

It’s best that you do the research for that one. Find the latin name for hte species and look it up next to ’Caresheet’ online. Look at multiple caresheets, since, ya know, most are inaccurate. The only other advice is to go for the biggest tank size mentioned (most will probably say 10 gallons, but that’s way too small. a 20 or thirty is normally better.)

Yes to the tank, probably to the temperament, and no idea to the cost.

You should really research what you’re getting into for over a month or two, ya know. You don’t want to run out and quickly buy something you know next to nothing about; that could land you into all sorts of headaches. No lizard should come home to a tank setup that may only be half-perfected, and no owner wants to land them self with a lizard they may not want in the future. Not only should you do that research, but you should also let the ’Whoa, exotic cool-looking lizard!" feeling wear off first as well.
