 Ok need help here folks!

Hi im 13 and have never had or seen a gecko. but yet i am like in love with them. ok let me get to the point. my mom said i could get a gecko i just needed to get some info on them. if any one can and would help me plz do. i really really really want this gecko. i already have a name for it. i will for ever b in ur debt! THANX FOR THE HELP!!

What species of gecko is it that you want? There are hundreds of species of gecko out there. They all have different care and requirements.

Once you find the species you’re interested in, look up the latin name on google, then do a search for a care sheet and that latin name (ie, google ’species + care sheet’). Look at multiple care sheets as some are off. After you have studied the care sheets, come and ask specific questions that you have issues with. Ie, we aren’t going to spoon feed you every ounce of info on a lizard when you are entirely capable of doing it, yourself. Before you get a lizard, do 2 months of research on the specific species you want and find a vet in your area that will be able to do yearly checkups on it as well as for emergencies.



Lastly, since I got a peek at one of your other thread before the system removed them, remember that we aren’t on 24/7. We have lives. You need to wait a day or two for a response.

Ok this is her mom and there is no reason to be rude to her she is 13 and I do not care for your tone with her she is like any other teenage that gets excited about getting a new pet what ever it may be. I am the one that posted the first message and would like to know why it has been removed. I do not have the time to sit on the computer as I am a full time student, work a full time job and then some. I have three kids, a husband and house to take care of. Oh not to mention the I have 5 dogs, 6 cats, 2 water dragons and 5 gerbils and my mom that I also take care of. I also do not let her just sit on the computer every second of the day. And she has been doing research on them because that is what I told her to do.

I guess what I am trying to say is try to be a little nicer when you are talking to a child.

well she is 13 right? she is a teen not a child. I though that KrazyKelli wasn’t being rude at all. she just told her your girl what to do. I just think your blowing it out of proportion. anyways there are hundreds of geckos in this world maybe a crested or leopard gecko would be nice for her.
