Shedding White Lined Gecko I purchased a White Lined Gecko in January of 2010. He is about 8 inches long. I have him in a 20 gallon tank with a coconut fiber substrate. I mist the tank 3 to 4 times per day. He has a log to hide in during the day and a plastic vine hanging from the side of the tank. I use a red light to heat the tank and to watch him at night. When I first got him he did not eat for a month. I was feeding him pinhead crickets. After shedding 2 times I tried tiny meal worms and he started eating like crazy which has caused him to shed about 5 more times. The problem that I am having is that during the last two sheds he isn’t taking the shed off his feet. He has not been off the bottom of the tank since the second to last shed. I have tried to grab him to put him in a shallow bath to try and get the shed off his feet with no luck. He is very skittish and gets extremely stressed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shedding White Lined Gecko i have a white lined gecko as well and if he or my other gecko has a problem shedding i soak them in warm water or put them in a plastic container with warm paper towels with the lid on for a few and do it about twice a week

Shedding White Lined Gecko Try and make your Gecko a "Humid Hide", its just a hide that is very humid that helps with shedding, look up "Humid Hide for Geckos" on Google for ideas and examples.
Good Luck
