What type of gecko is this????? Definitely not a Golden gecko, unless you live in Vietnam. Probably a Common House gecko.-collin

What type of gecko is this????? "Work in a pet store and my roomate caught a little gecko ther" The last word is there, which means it was caught in the petstore Dragón_Dorado. I would say it is a House Gecko, since it was 1.5" max length, tan in color, and arboreal...LGL

What type of gecko is this????? Thanks for the info! Any ideas on why he wont grow? I feed him small crickets and I know he eats. I figured if he was a house gecko or something like that then he should have grown a least a little by now.He is seriously no bigger than he was a few months ago. I breed leos, and they grow like weeds!

What type of gecko is this????? Oh, sorry, LGL, didn’t catch that. Yes, that is most definately a Mediterranean House gecko, these geckos can be found along the south border of the USA and other tropic locations throughout the southern hemisphere.-collin

You definately have a Mediterranean Gecko on your hands. They don’t get much bigger than yours. Feeding should consist of small crickets and mealworms. Keep him in the low to mid 80’s cause they are from warmer areas. Calcium sand such as "Bone Aide" would be a great substrate. GOOD LUCK.
