Foliage?? Polynesian Ivy, Pothos, there are tons, and tons. The best thing about plants is that most don’t have to be where the lizard is from. My Eastern Collared lizard (from southern USA and Northern Mexico) has an African Violet, and one of Golden geckos (from Vietnam) has a Polynesian Ivy. As long as the climate is similar.-collin

Foliage?? I have a long viney plant I use (I think it’s called a faicus) that I trimmed a vine off of. if you put a cup of water in teh tank and dip the end of the vine in it the foliage will last FOREVER in the tank. I don’t recommend some brands of cactus (simply cause some tree lizards like to jump around and you don’t want them to jump into it and get hurt. And I don’t recommend you use sand or any loose substate due to impaction. It doesn’t happen as often in lizards over 6 months old as it does younger ones, but impaction is possible. Instead of sand I recommend JungleMix (can be found in pet stores), or just good old fasioned paper towel. Potting soil also makes a good substate.

Foliage?? blackjungle.com is a really good website for terrariums, and they list a whole wack of tropical plants that are safe to use.

Foliage?? impaction is when your lizard eats the stuff and it blocks his tummy up. Ie, it’ll eventually kill him in a very painful, unpleasent way.Petstores try to sell stuff that they’re told to sell, not that’s actually good for you. I know many petstores that try to sell Calcisand and I’ve heard it’s natorious for killing lizards cause they dont’ stop eating it. You pick them out one by one =P I don’t like crickets and prefer to use mealworms since, well, mealworms are easier to keep track of and take out. JungleMix (bark and dirt substrate) is about 5 dollars for a bag that can fill a 10 gallon tank 3 times over. Papertowel is pretty much cheap since, well, you can buy it anywhere (I think 1 to 4 bucks from a roll.. come on, you know what papertowel is)

Foliage?? I still say that terrarium carpet is the way to go, if you’re looking for something that resembles his habitat more than paper towel will, go for this. He can’t ingest it and it’s perfectly safe and washable.
