 Injured leapord gecko

I recently looked in his cage and found that his lower jaw had quite a large cut. Possibe meal worm bite? Anyways it looks like it has healed but his jaw is a little deformed and swollen. I have seen him drink but not eat. There is fecal matter in the cage but not alot. The main thing I am concerned with is that when he sheds he no longer pulls of the skin...he just leaves it until he sheds again. He also is out from his "hiding Log" more often then not. I am worried that he is slowly dying...he’s only 4 years old. Any Advice?

i would personally post this in the leopard gecko forum and also take him to the vet. it could be an infection. see if you can get ahold of joanofoakes (sp?)...shes our resident expert. but a vet visit sounds in order to me.
