Help with diet

I have 2 marbled gecks that seem to only want crickets... I got them from a petstore, and I think that they are adults who have never seen anything else. Even though they are eating well, I don’t think that it’s very healthy.

As long as u have calcium supplement on the food then it should be just fine . But if u want something different try mealies and silks if u haven’t already .

silks are too much for a marble and you can fatten them up pretty easily with them. Try mealies, but crix are fine.

Before you put the crix in, gutload them with Cricketfood and dust them with CricketDust. That way your marbles will get their vitamins. As long as they eat all the crickets you put in and the crickets aren’t HUGE, everything should be fine.

On the nutrition scale:
Mealies - 50% nutrition
Crix - 55% nutrition

Depends on the size silks you get. The place where I buy my feeders had ONLY small silkies. I’m talkin’ small enuff for a Crocodile gecko to choke down. On the other hand I’ve seen silkies as fat as a pinkie finger, big enough to choke Jabba, my big fat Asian Black Spined toad, and she’s got a pretty big mouth.
