Im going to be buying a golden gecko if anyone could post some pics that would be great but dont post pics of leopards you think are named golden geckos like i keep seeing on websites some more info would be great too i have a whole folder full of info now and my friend has had one before. i have some experience with other geckos like leos and cresteds but this is a new one i want to try. I already have the 38 reptarium and nocturnal bulb light waiting 4 him

don’t use a reptarium. They hold heat worse than fish tanks.. unless your room is really warm dont use the reptarium.

visions are good quality cages. Reptariums are pieces of JUNK (except for small chameleons). They are just a nylon mesh "box"

my reptarium is sort of an altered reptarium i put 3 sides plexi glass and botton with the top and front being screen i know it lets out heat more but i have them in a very warm room where i keep all my herps sry i shohave said that to strt with

golden geckos are a reall cool pet to have, they dont really like to be held. but if you do it alot they will get use to it. good choice to have, i like mine alot. they are more of a hider. so you cant really watch them in the day light. but they are fun pat

In my experience Goldens are often touchy and if they are feeling at all crabby they wont want to be handled. It could be that he is going into a shed and doesnt want to be handled. Watch the tail...they tend to drop them if they get too stressed or scared.
