 Golden wont eat

Hey i am writing to see if anybody can give me some kind of imformation on why my golden gecko wont eat? I purchased him 3 weeks ago and he hasnt eatin to this day and i am really worried. He is still looking healthy. I had first had him in a tank with vita-sand that i purchased along with him until i had came to this web site i didnt know that he needed a warm, tropical enclosure but now i have got him in a cage with soil,a 30 watt lamp,and i am misting him 2 times a day he has been drinking yet still not eating if you can please give me some info to help!

I have a golden Gecko my self so maybe this will help you. Golden geckos are nocturnal.They usally eat at night. They also love live crickets in there cage. Golden geckos like some were to hide like a little house in there cage. Make sure the light and every thing is working right and the temprature is 70 to 80 degrees. Don’t worry my golden did not eat for the first 2 1/2 weeks i had him but when i put a little dish of bannana baby food in his cage and watched her that night she came and started to lick the baby food so try that and then try some crickets also at least 3 misting a day so that it feels comfterble

first you should feed him live crickets or meal worms if you aren’t already and you have to dust them with cricket powder. You can also feed him chopped up fruit like bananas. His temp should be 75-85 in the day, 85-95 in basking area, and 70-75 at night. See if it helps.

when i got my gecko he did`ent eat, but then i decided to out smart him and it works, give ur gecko some fruit salad babyfood. seriously that is all my gecko will eat maybe it`ll work for you !

yo u need a 50-60 watt light bulb and anocturnal light bulb and u just need to leave him in his cage for a while and watch him and dont touch him until he has eaten some crikets and u could try feeding a bit of baby food off ur pinky ok hope i helped but u should take him to the vets ok ~joe blow~

My leo gave up eating all together for a good while and I got really worried so I decided to get super worms and meal worms so I gave them to him and he would eat them but still wouldn’t look at the crickets so then he started eating crickets too so I was very happy :)
