 PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!


1. i have a 20 gallon ong and a uth on one side. its about 85 on the groung were he lays. on the cool side its around 70 or so.

Is that ok?


2. I have a red 60 watt light. how long should i leve it on. it dries out the cage pretty fast even with suran wrap on top.

Sugjestions?

3. WHATS A GOOD NAME FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!!

I would bump the cool side up to around 75 if possible..just because 70 seems low, but as long as he has a choice, then he’ll choose whatever suits him.

For humidity..Get a hygrometer if you don’t have one, mist the tank a lot, and i’ve heard of people putting ice cubes in high places of the tank to let them drip over time.
Personally, I got a humidifier for my room and keeping it on all of the time. If you don’t mind having a humid room and the cost (the cheapest one I found at target was 30 dollars) then that’s worked really well for me.

the bulb isnt needed as long as your temps are good. i use florescent under cabinet lights connected to a timer for my afts and leos just to make sure they have day/night cycles.
