If you separate them, the gecko will almost positively start to gain weight and eat normally again. |

BUT DO SOME RESEARCH. they have VERY different care needs. and they need to be separated. beardies should never be housed with another animal. i have one thats missing a foot and a third of her tail thanks to petstore overcrowding. besides that the beardie needs uvb light and MUCH higher temps than the aft. afts need 83-87ish.. beardies need a basking area of up to 105- 115. beardies need very dry environments while afts need humidity averaging 60% or so. beardies need at least a 40 gallon breeder for one.. as opposed to the 10 gallon minimum for an aft. its also entirely possible that one or both of your herps have parasites.. their systems are different and it wouldnt surprise me if there are issues from improper care.
