And be very gentle and walk slowly when you’re holding her so there’s nothing you’re doing to purposely aggravate her. If she does bite, stay calm and gently put her back in the cage..just try again tomorrow and keep the wound clean. When she realizes that biting doesn’t do any good, she should stop. And just as a side note...if you have her in the tank alone with Guapo, you run the risk of him overbreeding her. The male basically dominates the female and she will submit, eat less and slowly starve. It doesn’t always happen, it’s just a risk. I think the suggested number for co-ed housing is 2 or 3 females per male.. btw, your images didn’t work. |
